AGENCY FOR ASSISTANCE AND DEVELOPMENT OF AFGHANISTAN (AADA)
AADA was founded in 2005 with the main aim of providing quality health and social services, professional capacity building, and promotion of equal access of communities to developmental and humanitarian services. AADA also responds to the needs of the Afghan people in accordance with the principles and fundamentals of civil society organizations.
Quality improvement, geographic expansion, diversification of funding, institutional development, gender equity, women empowerment and community development are among the main strategic directions reflected in the “AADA Strategic Plan”.
In its long life AADA has operated in 33 provinces of Afghanistan and has successfully implemented more than 125 health and health-related projects, including 28 education/capacity development projects. AADA is a multi-donor funded organization in partnership with the Government of Afghanistan and other international donors including USAID, World Bank, Global Fund and UN agencies.
Job Summary
- Design, plan and follow up the pharmacy activities in the existing area of work.
- Assist the pharmacy staff for preparing and implementation of monthly and annual plans.
- Guide the pharmacy technical team at central and provincial level.
- Represent AADA to donor and relevant stakeholders during meeting and workshop.
- Assist line manager in proposal writing.
- Conduct the on the job training on FEFO, FIFO, MDS and RUD related issues to subordinates.
- Conduct supervisory visits from the provincial offices, health facilities and pharmacy stocks.
- Analyze and evaluate pharmacy request data and consumption reports
- Proper pharmacy department record keeping of the projects at central level and make sure the same system is applied in the provincial level.
- Performs supervisory visit from Health Facilities at least one mission per month.
- Responsible for planning, implementation of the pharmaceutical activities
- Together with the logistic department hand over all medicine supply and medical equipment and check for their accuracy.
The Pharmacy Manager Job at AADA ( 5 Vacancies ) will have responsibilities that include:
- Conduct training for the pharmacist of the provincial level and health facilities.
- Identify and report problems that interferes the delivery of services
- Provide first aid kits for the office and emergency kits for the vehicles travelling around.
- Make sure that the medicine supply arranged according to expiry date
- Ensure safe, clean and proper storage of all medicine and other medical equipment within the ware house in center and provincial level.
- Attend coordination meetings related to pharmaceuticals issues at the MoPH.
- Prepare monthly activity reports of the pharmacy and submission of it to line manager
- Any other official task assigned by line supervisor and Head Quarter team.
Job Requirment
Pharmacy Manager Job at AADA Qualification:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy
Experience: At least 5 years of professional experience. Experience in quality assurance activities in pharmaceutical procurements would be an added advantage.
