OCCD, established and registered with the Ministry of Economy in 2013 with number of 3032, is a non-profit, non-governmental, non-political and independent organization. OCCD has a board of trustee (BOT) which is comprised of volunteer members who are working outside the organization
Job Summary
- Maintain coordination with all stakeholders at the provincial level
- Ensure – through clear weekly and monthly work plans – lifesaving health services, field assessments, and community-based activities, especially health and nutrition services are carried out in a timely, effective, and technically sound manner.
- Supervise and facilitate smooth health services delivery through outreach health teams are provided to all those in need to communities with health concerns.
- Support the collection of information/data and the needs of the community, and vulnerability to communicable and non-communicable illness.
- Work collaboratively with other program and technical staff to ensure necessary program planning development and management activities function smoothly and efficiently.
- Assist the Senior Management Team with the development of work plans reporting monitoring and evaluation.
- Work collaboratively with field staff to ensure that resources for effective and timely program implementation are available.
The Health Officer Job at in Multi Location With ( 3 Vacancies ) will have responsibilities that include:
- Coordinate with partners as needed and set up/execute ongoing coordination mechanisms under the leadership of the Program
- Participate in and lead as needed monitoring and evaluation of activities for provinces.
- Oversee technical assistance needed to execute project work plans activities and help fulfil any gaps identified.
- Ensure timely accurate and appropriate reporting of program activities and share the results to the donor and other stakeholders.
- Participate in the review of technical and programmatic portions of documents
- Contribute to the development of novel knowledge management and sharing tools and processes
- Prepare and submit activity plans and reports to the project and health coordinator on agreed schedules.
- Provide verbal and written feedback to the staff on progress, lessons learned, achievements and gaps, issues, and problems.
- Keep a database of the number of beneficiaries per activity in each location,
- Attend all project related meetings/forums
- Any other duties as may be assigned by the Line Manager.
Job Requirment
- must be graduated from a well-known Medical Faculty
- At least 4 years relevant experience in the field
- Good communication skills (written and spoken) of Dari, Pashto and preferable in English
