Job Summary
HPL is hiring a AC Technician who has Minimum 3 years of professional working experience in a similar position in a national or international NGO.
The AC Technician Job at HPL in Nangarhar With 49480 Salary will have responsibilities that include:
- Conduct regular inspections and servicing of all Air Conditioners, Water Dispensers, Refrigerators, and Cooling Coolers.
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, including parts replacements and repairs.
- Conduct seasonal maintenance checks to ensure system efficiency and longevity
- Perform minor repairs and coordinate with external service providers for major repairs
- Repair or replace defective parts, including compressors, motors, and valves.
- Test system performance after repairs to ensure proper functionality
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with thermostat settings, airflow, and system control
- Installing, maintaining and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment
- Technicians should inspect, analyze, and troubleshoot systems and equipment
- Connect power supply and test functionality of new systems
- Maintain and keep records, and provide personal bookkeeping services
- Ensure the timely procurement of required materials and manage the inventory efficiently
- Update the inventory (Air Conditioners, Water Dispensers, Refrigerators and Cooling Coolers) record on a monthly basis
- Follow safety protocols and regulations when handling hazardous materials, such as refrigerants
- Wear protective gear and ensure a safe working environment
- Any other tasks assigned by the supervisor
Job Requirment
- Education: A baccalaureate degree is required and a Completion of a vocational/technical program in HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) degree from a technical college will be preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of professional working experience in a similar position in a national or international NGO.
- Languages: Proficiency in both national languages and excellent communication and writing skills in English
- Knowledge of electrical systems, controls, and wiring
- Proficiency in the use of HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) tools and test equipment
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Self-motivated, Quick learner with a positive attitude.
- Cooperative and team-working skills
- Being flexible regarding working hours.
- Disciplined, honest, professional, and hard worker.
